Before I get started, I have a clear idea of the design of my paintings, but as I go on, the shapes and the colours that appear on my canvas lead me in another direction. I find myself so devoted when I create, that time and place dissovle from my mind and yet I am so focused and concentrated. It is excactly this process and state of mind that motivate me.  

I mainly use acrylic paint. In order to achieve the optimum colors, I often work with complementary colors, as they do challenge the eye and create balance. I often paint layer upon layer to achieve the right depth.
