The human being is the center of my paintings. Whether it be inner pictures and life experiences; or the human body, I paint. I enjoy painting from a model. Doing this, I use a technique that I learned in an art school that I attented just after A-levels. I have refined the technique over the last three decades.

As I paint, I have a clear idea of what to paint, but as I go on, the strokes lead me somewhere else. It is excactly this proces that fascinates me.

My artworks are very personal, but even though it is my interpretation of life that I express, they do awaken a feeling, create an atmosphere or recall a memory in the mind of the viewer.
